DDES, Diseño de Estructuras y Soluciones S.A.S., is a structural engineering firm founded in 2020 in Barranquilla. It designs, reviews and supervises structures under the NSR-10, Colombia's seismic-resistant building code, and Law 1796 of 2016, in the Caribbean region and the rest of Colombia, and stays with each one from design to handover.

Technical rigor
Every decision is calculated and documented. If it cannot be backed up, it is not signed.
On site
The engineers who design also visit the site. The structure does not end on the drawing.

We explain in plain language what is being decided and why, to the owner, the contractor and the permit authority.

Every drawing carries an engineer's name.
Design, review and supervision are signed by licensed professionals with proven experience. They answer for our work.

Project engineer. She coordinates the technical documentation and the control of the works.
Oversight team
Site engineers and inspectors who follow every project: they sign off the reinforcing steel, take the concrete cylinders and keep the site log.
We know each region
We were founded in Barranquilla and we work across Colombia: Atlántico, Bolívar, Córdoba, Sucre, La Guajira, Casanare. Soft soils near the rivers, expansive clays, high seismic hazard zones, sea breeze and heavy downpours: we design for the real conditions of each place.
Tools and codes
We design to the NSR-10, ACI 318 and AISC 360. We analyze in ETABS, SAP2000 and SAFE, and we model in Revit and Tekla.
